First, here's the story from the game tonight with postgame reaction: https://www.seccountry.com/florida/florida-baseball-gators-earn-return-college-world-series

Also, Jordan McPherson wrote a separate story just on Tyler Dyson's heroics Monday: https://www.seccountry.com/florida/florida-baseball-tyler-dyson-cws

With that, a few quick thoughts before heading to bed for some much-needed sleep ...

Kevin O'Sullivan said he told this team before the season that he truly believed they had as good a chance as any team he's had to win a national championship. And maybe, just maybe, it's all coming together at the right time.

Dyson was a revelation today. If he can be that one extra arm in the bullpen they're definitely going to need in Omaha, then that changes the complexion of this team.

Also, it should be underscored just how impressive it is that O'Sullivan has guided the Gators to six College World Series in the last eight years -- including three straight. No other school in the country has been there that many times in that span. Truly impressive.

Will be back on in the morning (late morning!) if anybody wants to chat baseball.
